lenses used were nikkor 24/2.8 @ f5.6 and nikkor 300/4.5 @ f4.5

First one is really great.....and the colors are definitively Shocked , almost sunatural on pictures 2&3 !!!!

the colors are true, this is the spring river of Sava (940 km long river in southeastern Europe)... there are intense blue and green colors in the lake due to limestone and algee... the river "boils" right out of the limestone ground (where the color is blue), when the underground flow is strong enough the lake literaly boils in blue places... I'll visit it again and make some photos of "boiling points"
