Old Vivitar 28mm f2.8, How bad is it?

I recently purchased this lens for my Vivitar collection. I haven't received it yet.

I have a Tokina made 135mm f2.8 from this series that is a really great lens, but this 28mm seems to have
a mediocre reputation. How bad is it? Looks like a T4 mount, but not 100% sure. Also, does anyone know how old this lens is?

I had similar one but 24mm

From looking at the serial number, I want to say February 1970.
