Nice.... I love the lights in Sydney.I like both. Very Happy Were they hand held or tripod?

Thanks for the comments all.

Mo, definitely tripod, the foveon sensor needs a fair bit of light and it has poor high ISO performance.

I take a tripod with me almost everywhere, i need all the help i can get.. Smile

You can click the images to see them in higher res on flickr...

I was thinking ..depending on what time of night it was ,it may not have been too safe with your camera gear out there on a tripod.. Sad

The shots were taken between 7 & 8 pm, the area seemed very safe, i was staying at the vibe hotel and was walking back from the pubs at 11pm or so.

One of the benefits being from interstate is ignorance is bliss , i didn't think about security Smile I go out often at night, never had a problem yet...

Is it a dangerous area? There were security guards stationed at the Anzac Memorial, which is a sad indictment of modern society..

Like anywhere you go out on the wrong night at the wrong time...I would be cautious...but hey live like that and you miss a lot in life Very Happy I know there has been a few drunken brawls stuff like that and of course idiots who vandalize the monument Sad ...hence the security guards.

Pictures like these make one wish more had been done to develop the foveon sensor. Crying or Very sad

Well done Steven! I have a SD14 laying around, never that much impressed by it. Maybe I give it another try...
