I finally had some sunshine so off to the garden I went.These are all hand held. I have some dark images which I sort of like as is,so I made some copies which I have used windows live to auto fix.Which is better the dark or the light?....also included a few extras Very Happy
As usual the wind turns up when you are trying to shoot macro Sad

Lovely shots! I often choose the darker images among my own photos, but I find that I prefer the lighter versions here.

Yes, we have these trees/shrubs that bloom in winter, unsure of any botanical names...I think they keep the honey eaters and parrots feed over winter. Very Happy

That's one of the grevillea species Mo posted. Lovely pics btw.
Australian winter is also the time for peonies and camelias.
