[C&C] Some Helios 44M Shots

A few shots I've taken recently with the Helios 44M.

First is a macro of a grevillea flower :




Another macro, this time of potato vine flowers (I think?) :



Lastly a long exposure - taken after sunset from the beach down the road :




Sorry I can't remember the apertures used. Shots were taken on a Nikon D40x.

Personally I believe cropping is ok on the shots, however the white flowers I probably used too narrow a DOF and the bay shot I forgot to bring a tripod with me and I possibly didn't get hyperfocal right...

Nice series with the 44M. #1 on the grevillea flower is my favourite. Looks like an artistic piece with the orange bokeh blending into the flowers.

you have good copy of Helios 44M. nice work.

It's an ok specimen of a 44M. I paid a premium for "like new" condition,
and it wasn't entirely accurate. glass is flawless, no cleaning marks or
scratches, though there is some fungus growing out from the barrel near
the aperture blades and I'd give cosmetics 8/10 at best.

Lucky the fungus doesn't affect IQ at least not on a crop sensor anyway.
