Nice design, and sure enough looks like it does Holga...

More intriguing: the open source camera project. Using this platform, with all the shutter speeds enabled, and a real lens... hmmm

Well, I'm sprung, I think it will be coolacious! Especially shooting in the
square format will be a treat.

I am surprized someone hasn't asked to buy one!

Looks authentic ...... Try to get it onto 4/3 rumors site?

sounds excellent, but i heared rumours that it doesn´t use SD card.
You have to take these ones, and i remember well what happens if the stack falls down

This is true, and with 1 card per pixel, carting around enough for even one photo will be a hassle.

Possibly the cheapest FF digicam?

I'd be very interested in buying one if the price is right.

I like the way they flaunt the camera's "faults" -- i.e., "Plastic Lens -- Coating-Less"

@ nesster

if you estimate one card´s mass at 3 grams, you end for a 10 MP image at 30 tons
Now DHL gets a new meaning "Digital High speed Lufthansa cargo" having one 747 to send a picture...this is manual the finest Very Happy

Wouldn't it be easier to take the lens out of a Holga and adapt to a DSLR?

Failing that, just make the image soft, over-contrasty, grainy and add vignette in PP?

Yeah but that takes all the fun out of it. Neo Primitivism.

taking out the lens ?
take a lensbaby, fix the flexible part - first version with 1 plastic lens, it´s the same
You get this for € 30 - 50 in the bay

I've done that. It's not too difficult.
But just changing the output is not really funny.
And I am not sure if shooting with a Holga would be (for me). Wink

I really don't see the objection? It has something of Porsche design about it - minimalist yet sinister black. What it does lack - a serious mistake in my opinion, is an intervalometer...

I am sure that something clockwork would be just fine? It's no use designing the ultimate photographic tool for the aesthetically handicapped and then leaving ignoring the needs of the terminally deranged feature-freak?
