Got this lens recenly from ebay, just of curiousity.

The apperture wouldn't close after F8. Had to repair it. Succeded, but couldn't do anything about a small defect - the blades wouldn't make a perfect hexagon with appertures f16-f22, which btw can affect sharpness and distorsion level.

While testing the lens I discovered that at F2.8 it's very soft (can be used for soft effect though) and serious vingetting in the corners.
It's also quite a good performer at f4-f8.
The bokeh is nice and pleasant for a 3rd party lens, but no sample here.

At the time I don't rly need such a wide lens and decieded to sell it.

Made a test, which could be usefull for others.

Shot with eos 550d (T2i) using a tripod. Just RAW->Jpeg conversion in Capture one, no resize.

Looks like a winner after looking at some of the samples which are as large
as a king size bedsheet. Wink

For it's price definetly yes! Around 90 euros.

Also the lens has very nice bokeh.

wide angle + shallow dof looks amazing!
