that's for M-1 camera that came before OM series...just don't know if it's mount is compatible with OM...looks the same

Yeah it is compatible as the mount is identical. Olympus had to drop the "M-System" label because Leica protested!

By chance I bought one a few years ago (Zuiko 28/3.5) with no knowledge that it is collectible Wink

here says that your 28mm was produced in 7200 examples...so 106253 on your lens would mean that your lens is 6253rd...
how does it compare in performance with om version?

I also have a MC Zuiko 28mm f2.8. The 28/3.5 "M-System" beats it hands down from wide open aperture right into the corners!
