Actually my image took 2nd place in our local camera club's "Flower " competition last night. There were about 60 entries. Judging is so very subjective, but the judge noted that many shots just were not sharp. I suspect a number of them were due to subject movement (slight breeze is all it takes) & others were likely due to missed focal point...Mine was taken with an older MF 50mm F1.4 Nikkor shot wide open (the only entry shot with a MF lens)...The shot that won however, wasn't sharp, but it was the mood it evoked that took the prize...Here was my shot
