Perhaps your copy is tampered and lenses are not aligned well or need to more PS on pictures than with other lenses. My Panasonic G1 produce quite shitty result with most lenses include best ones like Carl Zeiss Contax lenses without PS most of the time especially at infinity shoots. Little PS do magic I shout in RAW and before convert them to jpg I use auto contrast and color function in ACDSEE in 99% it is come out nicely. Sometimes need to adjust sharpness too and lighting. I did set factory default to higher sharpness and color saturation on camera body.
