Try it on portraits too - it is one of the best lenses of its type

Very nice photos, great bokeh. The Nikkor 180mm f/2.8 ED was one of the best lenses I ever owned. Crisp, contrasty, crystal-clear images. Shoulda never sold it.

Heh. Why else? I needed the money. I sold it along with most of my Nikon gear at the time.
