Went to water my tomato plants the other day & found this Tomato Hornworm Caterpillar feasting away....Needless to say, he's history. They pupate into Sphinx moths

But he eats one of my favorite vegetables! (although it's really classified as a fruit)...The spine on it's backside is really soft, not as wicked as it looks.

Nice shot. I could easily imagine that critter to be from a different planet.

So, Scott, what did you use to get the shot?

My Lester Dine 105....It's my go to macro lens
