avoid ebay seller 67acht

bought a pentacon 500 f 5.6 in working condition. Click here to see on Ebay.de The lens came in 2 parts, unscrewed and full of oil. I wrote to the seller immediately after opening the package and he answered: either you joke or it is not the lens i´ve sent, you probably mixed it up. For shure i am mixing up 3kg lenses coming regularly onto my desk.Serial number was according to the pic in ebay. I sent it to a east german repair shop and they called me to scrap it, to save the money for back shipment and handling cost, because a lot of parts were missing and the aperture was cannibalized.
I asked him what he intends to do - no answer, i sent him the information of the shop - no answer for one week, now i mad my first negative valuation in ten years ebay. I also think that he or a friend of him bid on the lens at a hight price, because i was overbidden, than the bid was taken back and the same bidder bid few minutes later 1 Euro below my bid...claimed that to ebay.
Result: a total amount of about € 175.- to learn that ebay today is splitting in 2 sections, but how to learn which one is the serious...

Sorry to read this. You have to contact ebay again and again until they react.

The seller seems to deal only with defective goods as you can read within the other judgements.

Did you pay by credit card through paypal? If so, you can contact your credit card company to dispute the charge, they are usually much better than paypal/ebay in helping buyers.

I had a much less horrible experience, and finally resolved it through the credit card company because ebay/paypal was ignoring me.
