This is one of the best wide angle lens from Meyer, I found only one what I think better Helioplan. Nice samples, what a pitty you did this lens butchering. _________________ -------------------------------

Thank you Attila. I do feel a little remorse for the lens butchering, but again I think of the new lease on life- I have hopefully given it, to produce images that its capable of producing. I thought long and hard before I adapted it.
If I decide to use it on a Exakta mount camera , I will have to unglue the M39 to M42 adapter and apply a shim/ring of a thickness of 1mm and a little more on the lens mount . |

This is a dilemma I know, not easy to decide what should we do. If you use it on long term you decided well if not decision was wrong. I sold my rare Tevidon instead of butchering it , because I knew I will not use more than a few test shoots. I have a very rare Carl Zeiss 12cm pre-war lens butchered by an asshole , blades removed , mount modified pretty much unusable. I saw only this copy ever... so painful. _________________ -------------------------------
