Contrast has to be boosted of course. One could benefit from a bit bigger sensor. This is IMHO at least 2x crop factor. Last shot is book cover.

I think there is a lot of potential with this lens, how does it work on other cameras? I do like the softness in the images.

I am glad you asked otherwise i might just skip the NEX try. The obvious: lens covers APS-C sensor with nearly zero vignette. And all other aspects seem ok too. It's harder to make a photo handheld though. NEX-3 and some crappy shots. My reflection at the mirror also there:





Sadly portrait focusing distance is limit without some modification of the lens.

It is still soft, but I think if you find the right subject matter for it it will work very nicely. There seems to be a purple glow on the speaker (left hand side) in the first image?

Will you post up an image of the lens?...I don't play with these odd lenses so its hard to know how they sit/fit on the camera.
