Hey everyone. I'm new to this forum but I've come across it many times while searching the web for information. Great resource!
Recently I got this new hobby, looking for M42-lenses for my Pentax DSLR.
Some weeks ago I purchased this lens from ebay. According to the seller it's a Chinon, but I doubt it. First of all there is no name or anything on it but the seller said it came with a Chinon camera.
There were some dust specks and the diaphragm was fully open all the time. I got it quite cheap, or at least I didn't pay so much for it
Today I decided to perform some surgery. I took it apart trying to find some sign that could identify it, but there is abolutely nothing. I tried searching google but could not find any image that exactly resembles this lens. The good news is I got rid of most the dust and the diaphragm is now working.
What I know:
The inscription around the bezel says "AUTO LENS f:2.8 f=28mm No.3628038"
On the bottom there is another inscription that says "Made in Korea".
Maybe not so much to go on but pleae see the pictures below:
edit: hmm, apparently I can't post links yet
