Its a fantastically well designed lens, as are most Tamron A2.
IQ isn't the best, but then again the CZJ or SMC-M (F3.5) don't do F2.5.
I'd like to find a SMC F2.5 which is suppose to be good (expensive as well).
F1.8 lenses seem to be too soft. _________________ TWAPSI - The World As Photography Sees It |

You mean the Tamron Adaptall 105mm?
I had that and sold it.
Its one of the very few lenses I regret selling.
I should get into primes more. _________________ TWAPSI - The World As Photography Sees It |

IQ is pretty good at f/4, absolutely comparable to highly reputated f/3.5 lenses, plus this Tamron offers the f/2.5 which is great for portraits.
And this Tamron works well at the 5D. _________________ Personal forum activity on pause every now and again (due to job obligations)!

That and the Vivitar 135mm M42 are my favourite 135 lenses... with the Chinon a close third as it's f2.8...
