What is the lens and do you like its character?

Hmm....

Very sharp, the colours are unkmistakeably Russian, the bokeh is swirly and it doesn't look like a tele. It has to be a Helios 44 of some kind, maybe the 44-2?

It is not a Helios and it's not Russian. It is a normal FL lens though.

Good guess though as it looks like the Helios, which is why I posted it.

No winners so far. It is a preset lens and quite old.

Give us a few more tips first eh, e.g. nationality, I've got a feeling it's a lens I know very little about.
