This lens works very well for flowers. Although it is may be not razor sharp, it certainly has a lot of painterly character.
These lenses exist under many names like Chinon, Porst, Yashinon and Tomioka of course.
I am very interested in your experiences with one of those lenses.
Show us your examples. Here are some of mine with the G1, all wide open, if I remember well.

I love the bokeh of this lens and flowers are good subjects Very Happy

They are very soft, like a watercolour painting.

Colors are great indeed and the bokeh is pretty good... Second one is my preferred. Smile
