Are you sure that the Tokina shot is in focus?

There is a shift in colour temperature - you need to lock on to a fixed WB setting.

All lenses were focussed on the same point on a tripod using the focus confirmation light. The colour shift is due to the lenses as i left it on cloudy white balance.

Strange Confused
Sorry for doubting, I didn't check the EXIF data. I coulda sworn that the cam was opting between cloudy, flash and sunlight Very Happy

Huge difference in color rendition, and I don't understand what a 35mm lens has to do in this test. Furthermore, what focal length is the swiss army knife 18-55 at?

And why is there a huge color difference between all the shots? You say you shot them all at same white balance?

I can't find any comparable results here, methodology used obliterates any findings.

You got excellent results, but if this distance is normal for your photography, there is no need to use the optical adapter, the cheaper adapters will suffice as they will not permit focus beyond say 10 feet, 3m?

The results of this test would be improved by passing through fewer lenses, and that is one way to do it?
