Carl Zeiss Jena Biotar 1,5/7,5cm T (1950s)

Got this beauty some days ago, but now it is time to show.
It is in real mint condition and has no scratches and coating defects. The seller said it had been serviced in the 90s by Fotoservice Olbrich.
Focussing and aperture ring are as smooth as can be.
I am overwhelmed by this overall condition.
... and for sure, I won't sell this anymore

Very Happy

Minimum focussing distance 1m
18 Aperture blades

Congratulations...

Mine came with a custom made Zenit M39 mount too, so I can use it
on Nikon camera(s) like this combination

the lens (M39) + M39->M42 + M42->F (with two adapters).

This combination gives you ~60cm as MFD, but up to 180cm at most
you can focus, if I can sand the lens base 1~2 mm I can attain
infinity focus with the above combination. An example (~60cm to rose):

Congrats!

A lens in my wish list since long. I see you got the Exakta mount version...
Looking forward to see more samples.

I still have to wait for an Exakta adapter, but the lens was placed as buy now on the bay. I snapped it about 3 hours after it was advertised.
Had to sell my Vario Sonnar 28-85 to finance the deal.
But it was worth every cent Very Happy
