The tree shot was taken with 135 Sonnar, but the second shot was indeed with the Flektogon.
Thank you for the kind words! |

The secret is p&p - peanuts and patience
I agree, the title was a bit vulgar, even for sciurus vulgaris pictures. I changed it into a bit more proper |

As my equipment list in my signature says: 'peanuts' - in my favourite park there are two squirrels that have the courage to get nuts from my hand. On of them is an old friend I've chatted with for years I think, and the other one is a new friend who has even braver temperament.
Basicly I try to tame them by chatting to them very softly and calmly, I throw some peanuts to them from distance and slowly work from there too get them closer, until they have to pick the nuts from my palm. As I try to see them almost daily, they recognize me and nowdays often run towards me for a snack. It is important to not so much go to them, but to allow them to come to you.
An interesting fact is that even thout they just love peanuts, they also want to eat quite healthy and often end the "dinner" with some other food from the trees.
And thank you! |

Thank you so much for your kind words! Often I'm unhappy with my photos, so it is really nice to hear they're not as bad as I often think! |
