Hi

For those interested, i've seen 4 lenses being sold now in a shop called MacMahonPhoto, located in Paris.

So right now they're selling

- 2 2.8/135mm Sonnars, one is MM @129€ the other is AE @149€
- 1 35mm 2.8 > 29€
- 1 85mm 2.8 > 29€ as well

that said the two last aren't pictured and seeing the price it's a meh. Good price, but i'll mail them to have pix if some of you are interested.

I'd like to add that they don't ship abroad. Shipping local is 22€, count 15€ more for UE.

22€ to ship in France ? I didn't aware of this, this is very expensive, the french post is enough expensive, they should have a large beneif to send the lenses Surprised

It's Chronopost service. Expensive to me too, but i guess that they don't want to mess with normal colissimo service, which is cheaper, like 10€.

You're welcome. I can see to buy them today, depending if the 85mm is still available ( slezah ) and for Maple i take the 35mm.

I'll let you know for the delays, cos this weekend is work free here Cool
it's a lazey country

shipping would be 37€ ( 22 + 15 ) ( EU ) or 39€ for the rest of world, insured.

let me know who buys the 85mm first please

Why is the AE more expensive than the MM? Is it in better condition?

PostPosted: Wed May 12, 2010 5:48 pm    Post subject: Reply with quote

I have no idea in this, still a mystery Very Happy

Ok, about the 35 & 85 lenses. I'll PM both people interested to see what's going on.

edit > the AE version seems slighlty less used, but it's minor.

Both lenses go to darmodej. Sorry for the others, i'll let you know if there's something as interesting later on.

Those prices are cazy cheap. Why? There must be a defect for the 35 and 85mm lenses?

If it's too good to be true, it usually is untrue

Well then, if that's the case, Hexi, please add me to the waiting list. I'll take whatever is up for sale Very Happy

No problem.

Thing is people are very quick if that's a true bargain. For instance both 35 & 85mm were sold even before i purchase them, i just called the shop Confused Ther's a delay of 2 days before they put the lenses off the site, due to payment clearance.

Ok : still available are both Sonnars 135mm MM ( 129 ) & AE ( 149 ), link again for pix :

http://www.macmahonphoto.com/produit.php?id=192&m=Occasions

there's also a G 90MM F/2.8 lens 149€

Had a look to the site today. Couldn´t find the lenses. Seems to be an error because all prices are normal dealer price level. Contax 135mm with 129,00 to 149,00 € is standard selling price. Nothing special or a bargain.

Today I got a Leitz R 2.8/60 macro in better condition from my local dealer for less than 40 % of the price shown there. 490,00 € for this lens is too much.

Wink

Edit : hexi was 3 minutes quicker ......
