What would be a fair price for this lens. in very good condition.
I have the change to buy the lens for 45€, but I have to knwo it this is a correct price.

Yes, that is a good price. Mine cost US$37 a couple years ago, I've seen it lately at US$80-100, so €45 is quite good now. It's a fine lens, especially at that price.

I went ahead and bought this lens. 45€ and the lens is in mint condition.

The only problem is that it seems to need a flangeless adapter or I am wrong? The little metal block is preventing the adapter to screw on completly.

The metal block is inside mounting threads, does not interfere with full screw on.

Either adapter can be used. Man-Auto diaphragm switch is disabled by flanged adapter.

Flangeless is my preference for use with M42 Takumars. Flanged for Tamron, other M42 lenses without Man-Auto diaphragm switch.

never mind.. i was focussing on the inside of the adapter. the outside is touching nicely. and the lens is in position.

Thanks for the info.

Regards,

jurgen

Nice catch!

This is a great lens, with as only "problem" some CA (green fringing) in bad light.
