This is the first roll of slide film that I've put through my Kiev. Had it developed through an A&I mailer. They did a really nice job. I also ordered an anti-newton glass insert for the v700 holder as some of my previous film is heavily curled, and I thought this would be an easier and less expensive route than what betterscanning offers. This particular shot is not worth much, in fact some of the foreground oof flower bother me, but it definitely shows the capability of this lens/film/camera combination. So here is the original and an almost 300% center/focus-point crop (NO PP, just resized):

C&C always welcome!

erm well you've already run down your own shot i.e. "This particular shot is not worth much, in fact some of the foreground oof flower bother me".....well I'm a film guy but don't know what I'm supposed to be judging.

Hi, there.
Very pleasant colors and sharpness. I concur on the foreground oof flower being bothering. Maybe stopping down a bit more, plus focusing a bit shorter would have avoided but I'm just guessing since I'm not familiar with this lens. All in all the potential of the combo is there, just needs to be unfolded.

Cheers, M.-
