Has anyone seen these adapters yet?

“Viogtlander/Retina Reflex DKL Lens to All Canon EOS Mount Adapter Ring”.

This eBay seller also sells metal and plastic lens hoods of many kinds. He’s a really good eBay seller, I’ve bought around 5 or 6 lens hoods from him

Hi Jules,

It's not the one and only DKL-EOS adapter on ebay .
There are others - I had one a year ago but this is not so expensive.

The adapter should have a ring which can control the aperature since the lens do not have an aperature ring.

Btw this one does not have af confirm chip on it - or at least the seller doesn't say so.

If you have the lens they are very nice built and good performers.

BR,
Stefan

Thanks Stefan,

This is the first one I've seen and it does have the aperture control ring but not the chip.

Thanks

Jules

hi

i just acquired a complete set of kodak retina reflex lenses to use on dslr (and also kodak retina iv camera) and i just finished looking into these adapters. turns out there are several different sellers, but they are very expensive dkl>eos. i saved about $50-60 by getting a dkl>m42 adapter and using it with an autoconfirm m42>eos adapter i already had.

i just received the dkl>m42 adapter on monday, and it works great on my 5d. the auto confirm from the m42>eos adapter kicks in perfectly and the aperture setting on the dkl adapter works great with the lenses. i have not as yet tried my voigtlander skoparex 35/3.4, but no reason to think it will not work, though the mount IS constructed a little differently than the retina lenses.

if you need any more info, dont hesitate to ask! to find the adapter, just ebay search 'retina m42 adapter' or 'dkl m42 adapter' and you should find 1 or 2 for about $70 or so.

btw, do you have retina or voigtlander lenses? if retina, i would love to know what you think of them after you used it on 5d. i find the colors just astonishing with these lenses. they are my absolute first choice on a gray day as they simply bring out great color regardless of lighting. and really pretty sharp too. the 85/4 , 50/1.9 and 35/2.8 are my favorites.

I came looking here because I love the Schneider lenses and have been wondering if I could use the Kodak retina lenses on my canon. Am I correct that the dkl retina and the kodak retina are the same mount? Thanks for any help.
