I was in Snowdonia, North Wales recently, and happened upon this chapel within an hour of arriving at the village we stayed in. It was built in 1673 and was full of wonderful pieces, some of which I photographed.

All shots were taken with a Super-Multi-Coated Takumar 1.8/55, and all are wide-open.

Nice images. A reminder to me that I should use my Tak.

Thanks Martin. I'm in the same boat as you - I spent an age deciding which 5Xmm lens to bring, and finally (gladly) decided upon the Takumar.

Sure, the Zeiss units are more Zeiss-y, the Tomiokas more Tomioka-y, and the Helios variants more Helios-y. But, sometimes, limiting oneself can be liberating, as in this instance. I love this lens.
