I am struggling again with scanning some Velvia slides. The shadows can get quite dark which is ok for viewing the slides but with the scanner...
Taken two weeks ago on Mallorca (while waiting for the airports to reopen) with a Nikon F3 and my favourite manual Nikon lens the tiny Nikkor 3,5/28-50mm.

I love the first two. The last one is nice but the blue is a little strong. _________________ Ron |

+1 on Bill. Really nice. Clean and crisp and good Velvia colors. _________________

I also found the Provia to be better for general purpose and for scanning. I took also a F100 loaded with Provia 100 but with evil AF assistance .
The Velvia comes to its full power when viewing the slides with a projector - scanning isn't the best choice. |
