In a box of bits and bobs bought from our local saleroom, recently, was an AE-1 and lenses. I've never tried fd lenses so I tried the 50/1.8 on my 5D as a macro out of curiosity.
I used a canon lens mount converter 'B' and M39 - Eos adapter.
Seems to be a pretty good set up...
