I think my Carl Zeiss Jena optical module in Contax RF mount would fit on a Jupiter-9 85mm f/2 for M42 helicoid. Kinda would be best of both worlds and the lens would be certainly get more use than it does now as a Contax RF mount.

I've checked the threads on the optical module is 44mm diameter. Hope I can confirm this and get me a M42 adapter Wink

You would kill a poor lost innocent Jupiter 9 just for its helicoid .. Shocked Wink

I would try to get one cheaply with bad glass and reuse the spare parts Wink

Alex was suggesting that I put it on one of the M42 Helicoids, but the threads on the optical module is 44mm and a much finer pitch. Maybe we need to bump up one size (M52) and get a adapter made.

As long as it doesn't perform like a Toyota, I'm fine with that Wink
