Does anyone have any recommendations (or the opposite) for Canon DSLRs? I want to buy a couple of replacement batteries for my 5D (BP-511 or BP-511A, used for some other bodies too). I don't mind paying a little more for quality (though I'm not convinced the genuine ones are worth buying). I've not been overly impressed with the last set I bought (MaximalPower) and would like to get something better this time. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I had a phottix baterry on my 30D and it was as good as the canon original.
Try it .. its inexpensive and reliable.

You can take about 400-500 shots with one charge.

Thanks for that advice. I'll try the Phottix then.

Sterlingtek is a popular and low-cost supplier, though I don't know if their shipping policies cover worldwide delivery. I have their batteries, and they do seem to last a bit longer than Canon OEM batteries.
