Minolta X370 with JC Penney 135mm f2.8 lens. Fuji 400 film, CVS processing, and scanned of off print with Lexmark P4350.
Please C&C the main thing I'm checking is the quality of the scan.

Well the colours look unusual (like Walmarts film), fuji supera 200asa should give results like this (well my shot looks alright to me Smile ):-

Well the "sparkle" has gone from the shot now.........I don't know how my shot looked on your monitor or if you like the colours, but I had a quick play around with your shot in Photoshop and adjusted colour balances and gamma and it looked a bit better (on my monitor), but maybe you could get the negs scanned in a supermarket (in the UK they develope and put on a CD for £2) and see if the shot is better than scanning that print with your scanner.
BTW I used to get some excellent scans from my prints using a very old Epson scanner working on a parallel port and win98.

Excalibur. Your shot looks fine. I agree colors aren't right in my shot.

The film is Fuji Superia X-tra 400 from Walmart. I think your right about the disc. I will check into having one made, and post the results.

Holding the original pictue up to the screen, the sky is the wrong color and textue, and the grass is wrong to.
This was taken during winter so it shouldn't be green like in your shot.

Oh well, you have moved the goal posts...you didn't say the print was at fault, but in your words:- "the main thing I'm checking is the quality of the scan."

Sorry, my post wasn't clear. I meant I held the my original print up to the screen and compared to my scan copy, and they don't match. Color and texture is off.

Well I get that sometimes when I scan a neg but can't beat a damn supermarket print of the same neg, even being quite good at scanning and fairly good using Photoshop.
I call these negs unscanable as they wont work properly with my Epson flatbed scanner......Of course I could be crap at scanning and using Photoshop and kidding myself Smile
