wow, just a gorgeous capture. what is your camera?

Thank you!

I like the compatible colours of the bird and the fruit a lot myself.

The camera is Pentax K20D, the lens was either CZJ 200mm or 300mm, can't remember which.

Very nice, funny birds getting drunk on the berries Wink Here we call them "silverbells" because of their sound. Nice with the colours in the image.

Web-sized images mostly depend on sharpening after resizing regarding sharp appearance. Anyhow, no tripod was used - the image stabilizer of the camera helps tremendeously with the old tele lenses. Though a relatively high shutter speed is also needed due to rather animated subjects Smile

Thank you Smile

I shot it wide open - that is f/2.8. Without a good reason (to have more DOF), I tend to shoot wide open with tele lenses.

+1! The colours go really well, and I know how hard it is to get a good bird shot while they're munching away at 200mph Surprised

Lovely photo.
