Some very special treatment in these pictures.
Some show a nice glow, others a very peculiar saturation.

@NikonD: Although I'm not a fan of HDR, I like #1. It's not overly done. The texture and richness of the color of the wooden panels were emphasized.

In terms of composition though, I like #6. The fallen branch is asymmetrical to the still standing trees which I imagine are watching helplessly over their fallen comrade. And the depth of field is wonderful. I can almost reach out and touch the trees.
