What does AEJ mean?

PostPosted: Wed Mar 24, 2010 8:41 am    Post subject: Reply with quote

AE and MM are the variations. MM allows shutter speed and aperture priority / program mode on Contax film bodies, whilst AE is limited to aperture priority. Either is perfect for DSLRs Smile Some MM lenses were improved optically (slightly) e.g. Distagon 28/2.8.

The J stands for made in Japan. I have this lens in AEJ and it's superb on my EOS 40D Smile

Is this version possible to convert to Sony mount?

I don't think so, but I can be wrong.
