The Planar is one of my favourite lens ever, was my first MF lens and I like it for both sharpness and it's special bokeh.

This one has been adapted to the Sigma SA mount and I use it with my Sigmas (SD9, SD10) with interesting results. Somewhat difficult to use because it doesn't match very well with the metering system on the Sigmas and trend to overexpose upto 2 points.

Some tests:

@ f/1.7:

@ f/5.6:

(And yes, I know I have a dust spot on the sensor...) Wink

Regards.

Jes.
