Well after suffering yet more lens envy from posts on here i purchased a Konica Hexanon 40 F1.8 and Nex adaptor, so with it mounted on the camera, i took it to work today and as i was going through the railway station there was a special steam train at the platform so decided to test the lens.
None of these images have been edited at all.
straight JPGS from the NEX and not edited at all.
I have to say the lens lives up to the hype and if you are thinking of getting one get it soon before prices rise anymore.

Very nice contrast and the blacks and reds look amazing.

Nice lens.

PS. I thought 45407 Lancashire Fusilier and the Flying Scotsman were different engines?
