Hello, I'm in trouble after fitting a splt immage mirror onto a 5DII for better/precise MF. Immages are always slightly out of focus..... Live view is OK but I really would like to look through the prism.... Any advice, apart from refitting the native mirror?

the prism screen probably need adjustment, you need to find shim to correct it
I guess that you didn't get a original Canon screen
