yes, i do photograph people, too. sp1000, bw400cn, wolfe/ritz camera processing and scanning. all shots wide open, i think:

i think the super tak is somehow sharper, but i am not sure why. contrast difference?

shots were IN bw - bw400cn, c-41 procesing. cost twice as much to have it processed and put on cd at an actual photo store ($10 vs. $5) instead of walgreens, where a color cast has been showing up.

Either the Tak makes everyone look younger, or the Helios ages everyone. Wink Therefore I believe the Tak to be the better, more flattering, lens. Laughing

Good series. I have the SMC so I imagine it has more contrast again. The Helios may not be as sharp wide open, but that's not everything.
