Great shot of a pretty smile and damn good performance for wide open!

Nice bokeh, looks like a great portrait lens.

Very pleasant bokeh. Her hair is sharp even at f2.8.

Attila, I am internally gratified that I might have had something
to do with pushing you towards this combination of camera and film.
You are ABSOLUTELY suited for this. Your images are first-rate
because your sense of composition is interlinked with the quality
of Provia and the quality of a medium format scan.

The bokeh on the Biometar is pretty fabulous to me! I'm looking at
the specular highlights with the very fine "ring" around the specular
spot, and I love the way the spots are interacting to fade-off on
each other. Shocked REALLY nice bokeh indeed.

The image is almost a "high key" effect, with the highlights emphasized.
There is a feeling of airiness and bright sunlight that is captured nicely
by the Biometar. What a FINE lens. Couple this fine lens with the
wonderful crispness and clarity of the Flektogon 50, and you have an
unbeatable combination.

Koni, I agree with you. I had the Rollei 6006 with the Planar lens,
and it was KILLER! I hadto let go of it though, as it was breaking
down enough that I ended up spending several hundred dollars for
3 different repairs in one year. My pocketbook just couldn't take
that kind of abuse. Too bad, I loved it.

Attila, YES, I would be interested whenever you spot a decent price
out there! I actually had the Sonnar 180/2.8, the Vega 90/2.8,
and the Vega 120/2.8. All very good optics. I had to let
them go, as I was trying (foolishly) to fund the Rollei 6006
at the time. It is interesting how we go back and forth, looking for
a new system all the time. However, that won't be the case with
the Pentax 645, as I have settled on that as a long term camera.

I prefer the Rolleiflex SL-66. I've used Hassy's, RZ's, Bronicas... for 6x6 it's simply the best.
