Received this lens in this week.
Today there where some rain free moments, so I put it on a Canon 5D:

#1 Nice play of DoF

#2 Capable of making paintings:

#3 No problem with Sharpness:

I think this is a keeper!

I am planning to take one from long time ago, but I had always other priority. I think spring is soon and this lens should a perfect walking lens in nature. How much it's weight ?

Yes it is a very nice walkaround lens. All the important focal lenghts are there and a f/4.0 at 210mm is really interesting.

The lens is compact, weighs about 900 grams and works very nicely.

It's a great lens, I first discovered it last summer in France and found it nice and sharp, with good macro capability!
