on bell&howell auto 35/reflex slr (rebadged canon EXee), walgreens housebrand 200 asa color, store processing, scanning; canon EX 50/1.8. this is the short-lived lens series on which only the front element lens group is interchangeable. this camera was given to me. all it needed was a fresh px625 battery. it is shutter priority, but has manual mode, too, if the battery dies.











the lens does not like hard sun; i think a hood is in order. but really, for a free camera? i think we'll keep it.

this walgreens film is pretty good, and it's cheap - but not quite as inexpensive as fuji superia 200 asa, $6.84 for 4 rolls at wal-mart. the superia 400 asa is $8.64. by the way, no more kodak bw400cn on the closest wal-mart's photo display ...

thanks, bd. i really like the heft of it. the lens focuses close (under 18 inches). it could turn into my main miniature landscape camera ...

Is that bokeh in the top of the 2nd photo?

yes, shape of the diaphragm at that f stop, i suppose. bokeh in the wind chime and barbie, too ...
