That's a very, very beautiful lens Attila - I think I've seen a Pancolar with a similar grip too!

Just won this lens on ebay for $46.88 shipping included. How is the optical
performance compared to the 2.4/35 lens? Is the close focusing distance
the same? The lens I'm getting (Swedish seller) is in Exakta mount.

It has less contrast , I don't remember close focusing distance. I think you will love it. You got a bargain really, rare piece I love mine.

The picture of the lens above shows the distance scale going down to 20 cm so it should be the same as f/2.4.

Lens arrived from Sweden today and closest focus is 18cm, or 7 inches:

Indian Bay 1 lens caps for TLR, 1/2 of these make a great bottom cap for
Exakta mount, just found this out today.
