Baier phototechnik, which is a well-established company specialising in Pentacon Six and allied cameras, has introduced a new modification improving film flatness by altering the pressure plate system. It is meant to bring the P6 up to the standard of modern medium format film cameras.

I wonder if this would put the P6 on a par with cameras like the Pentax 645 or Hasselblad.

I'm contemplating having mine converted as it is already in being re-lubricated and overhauled.

Yes, isn't it great that the development of new P6 technology is continuing 50 years after the camera came out. Smile

I'm not sure that the company isn't really a one-man show, though.
