I spotted this in a charity shop and thought I'd give it a try as the price was £12.99. It's a chunky well built lens with the original front (metal screw in) and rear caps as well as the case. The hood is built into the lens. All items look as though they're new.
There is some cyan fringing going on but only if you pixle peep (see 1st crop). Not really a problem for me as I'll be using it on B&W film.

Ooooh I love a good charity shop bargain! Has this an M42 mount or the later type?
Results look promising so far, do you have some photos of the lens itself? _________________ Graham - Moderator

Yes, it's M42 mount. I never buy anything but.
I'll get a pic of the lens. _________________ Casual attendance these days |

I love this lens!
Bought it for mere 55$ on ebay in a condition of new, and now I rarely take it off the body
Colors are very fuji-like. Now I am waiting for the Fujica X-S adapter to arrive to try it out on my Fujica AX-3.
Pictures are clickable, full-size JPEGs are available. Camera - Canon 30D. Aperture setting on both pictures - f/5.6. The lens is a bit soft on the max f/4.5 setting (same story as with Fujinon-T 135/3.5), but at 5.6 it's already marvelous!
Still it's a "dark" lens, and now I am considering the purchase of an AF confirm adapter. _________________ Nikon D600, Tamron 20-40/2,7-3.5, Sigma 12-24/4.5-5.6, Nikkor 85/1.4D, 50/1.8G, AF-I 300/2.8

yeah, but i wish it was a little bit faster, it could have been a great portrait zoom lens (not that it can't be used for portraits, of course ) _________________ Nikon D600, Tamron 20-40/2,7-3.5, Sigma 12-24/4.5-5.6, Nikkor 85/1.4D, 50/1.8G, AF-I 300/2.8
