Not quite as good a shape as the 135mm but the lens elements are very good. Everyone let me know of any more of these out there in M42 mount. Still looking for more and different focal lengths of the same series.

Very handsome series. I will be on the lookout.

On a tangent, I have a Vivitar 3.5/180 preset that I have mislaid. When it turns up, I would be happy to send it to you. Have you got the 180mm yet ?

Yes I have one but it will have to have some serious work done to put it in usable condition. Estimated at 150 dollars....more than I want to pay. If you find yours please PM me with the details. I am interested.

Oh no...that is not the only ones I'm looking for. I still need some more preset lenses to complete those sets as well....Also there were some with the chrome band for the Aperture or f/stop marks that I've yet to collect. They have a black nose. And it goes on and on and on.

Very cute. Their focusing rings look to be the same as the ones on my all-black 200mm f/3.5 and 35mm f/1.9. Perhaps these are the immediate predecessors of my lenses' style and design?

According to others here on the forum that focus ring style was Vivitars corporate design. Mush the same as the T4's and TX lens. The Tokina's and Kirons and Komines all have a very similar design.

Looks like it could very well be an early Panagor (Kiron-Kino Precision Indudtries), before they adopted the Kiron name for overseas distribution.

Kiron Kid

Very possible Kid. Have you any more info on this from your huge store of Viv knowledge? I would love to know more.
