Yesterday I started to go through a couple of boxes full of misc parts and pieces from an over 100 year old family owned photographic shop that retreated into web sales when the cost of the store front made profits nill. The effort of putting this small stuff on a website was too big a task and I was told to put it in the trunk of my car before they dumped it in the trash barrel. I found this item and I hesitate to start trying to match this to various lenses and bodies as I have had too many jams in the past with that method.

Can anyone tell me what lens/body combination this is for? On the Internet it appears everyone at the time it was popular knew what it was for and no details setforth. I assume the 2X meas it is a doubler - got that part Smile

C/FD I think means Canon FD.
