Hi everybody,

The Tamron 350/5.6 mirror lens is one of my favorites lenses. It is not the sharpest long focal length lens I own, but it is certainly my sharpest mirror lens and it has a very manageable focal length, especially when used on APS-C cameras. Here are a few shots from today, sorry for those who don't like mirror lenses' bokeh Twisted Evil:

Cheers!

congrats Sebastien
as I don't have any 350mm (560 on crop), I guess I would have to walk 10 steps and take those plants with a 50mm

Dear Poilu,

Thanks for the compliments.
Zooming with your feet is a wrong concept as perspective will change according to distance to the subject . If you don't have a long focal lens, get a magnifier (loupe) from your nearest office supply store and mount it in front of your camera. I am quite sure you will get nice pictures out of this setting, as your talent matters more than the gear you may own !

Cheers!

Thanks CarbonR. Too bad your fine samples with this lens are not available online anymore!

Nice shots.

The bokeh doughnuts are apparent in some of them but don't detract for the images.
