Hi there -- I've been trying the lens today and I must say -- it's great..

I pushed the sharpness little bit higher than usual but I have always the sharpness ZERO in my camera..
I don't add sharpness too much but in this case I wanted too see the result if it's higher ..

The LAST PICTURE was taken in VERY low light...
We have two cats in our garden (they belong to the next door) and today Billy has come over ..
I usually take a picture of TINKER BELL but today it was BILLY Smile

I didn't adjust the CONTRAST neither in my camera nor in LighRoom ..(!)

I am getting worried that Orio is right with the contrast of this lens and his 'own character'... Smile

-- camera EOS 5D Mark II, pp in LightRoom as usual..

Thanks Klaus!

The lens is FAULTY (!) which is NOT A PROBLEM at all -- it requires some service and it will be perfect again ..Smile

The thing is that this lens was meant to be sold again .. but now -- I don't know what to do! Oh my god ! Another lens in my bag!?? I am sick again .. NO! Smile

True, but this lens seems to do it for trifox very comfortably. That big piece of glass feels good huh trifox?

patrickh

Now go look for the 105/1.8

hi all! thanks for your nice words! Embarassed

@ patrickh - I love those chunky barrels in my hands - lol

105 f1.8? -- that's a killer ! I am reducing my stuff but it seems to be that the number of my lenses has increased !! ..

Yes, great results Very Happy ....I like also a lot the portrait, the colours are very natural, it's quite sharp and a very good contrast wide open.....
This lens was a long time in my wishlist but it is quite difficult to found (at least for a reasonable price) so I don't look at it anymore Sad .....

Not to worry, TF! I'd be more than happy to take that 135/2 off your hands -- for a mere pittance, of course Cool
