Hi,

I read from this forum that Color Skoparex 25/2.8 and 35/2.8 non-AR version are in fact Distagon. I am wondering if their coating is different from T* and if so, how does it affect the image? Does anyone have both the Skoparex and Distagon and compare them side by side before? Thanks.

I had the distagon 35 for rollei, and not the best 35 that I had. Average in my opinion.

Better is the schneider angulon 35 for rollei, but it's more difficult to find.

I had both.

My option? Distagon 25 (better coated than the voigtlander).

Rino.

Hi Rino,

Are you saying that the voigtlander color skoparex is not as good as the schneider? Or are you refering to Distagon? Sorry I am a bit confused.

I just want to know if the voigtlander color skoparex is identical to their corresponding distagon, as I assume they have different coating, apology if my question is confusing... Thanks.

hi Alexander.

I said that I had the rollei distagon (better coated than the same rollei voigtlander ones) and it was average in my opinion.

And had the schneider angulon 2,8/35 which I found better than the distagon 2,8/35.

1- angulon
2-distagon
3-voigtlander

And the my option if I have to buy a rollei wide angle (except the expensive distagon 1,4/35) should be the distagon 2,8/25.

I hope to be clear this time. Embarassed

Regards, Rino.

Rino, did you have a possibility to compare the old Distagon 25/2.8 to the current version? There are tests of old/new Planar 50/1.4, old/new Distagon 28/2.0, but I have never found any comparision of the 25mm models...
